ASTM A179/A179M, ASME SA179/SA179M is the standard applicable to Seamless cold drawn low carbon steel heat exchanger and condenser tubes.
ASTM A179 or ASME SA179 cold drawn seamless carbon steel tube is applicable to tubular heat exchanger, condenser different similar heat transfer equipment with the minimum wall thickness.
This type of cold drawn seamless steel tube is widely used in chemical engineering, carbon treatment, oil refining, nuclear electric power generation, aviation, and so forth. STM A179 or ASME SA179 seamless carbon steel pipe is also used for manufacturing boiler water cold wall, economizer, reheater and steam cylinder.
